General Information

Keele University was founded in 1949 with a commitment to meet the demands of a new kind of society, economy and world. The university feels these principles resonate now more than ever.
Nestled in 600 acres of countryside in the heart of the UK, many of the University's students and staff live, study and work on campus. It’s a big campus but a small and cosmopolitan community. It operates on a human scale, providing people the space to think and plenty to do, with a vast array of clubs, societies, activities and volunteering opportunities.
The University delivers a range of academic courses and research across a variety of subjects, from health and humanities to social and natural sciences. Students will be taught in small groups, provided with one-to-one access to academics and we value the quality of their teaching as highly as their research.
The University was ranked Number 1 in England for Student Satisfaction in 2018 (National Student Survey, broad-based universities).
