Ifeyinwa Ojukwu will graduate with a B.S. in Biology and Psychology and minor in Public Health from Syracuse University. She has conducted research at SUNY Upstate Medical University on a rare neurodegenerative disorder, PKAN, and at the University of Pennsylvania as a Clinical Research Scholar. Ifeyinwa has focused on making curricular, organizational, and administrative contributions to diversity- and equity-related objectives on campus. She plans a career in medicine and health policy where she will continue to advocate for and support underserved populations. As a Marshall Scholar, Ifeyinwa will pursue a MSc in Precision Medicine at the University College London where she hopes to concentrate her research on the role of epigenetic modification in human disease etiology.
