Seamus Caragher, originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown University, where he studied neurobiology. His undergraduate research focused on the molecular changes underlying opioid addiction. In addition to his research, Seamus performed advocacy work in Congress to create new pre-medical student shadow programs at the Department of Veterans Affairs. He currently works at the Lurie Cancer Center, at Northwestern University, investigating brain cancer and potential therapeutics. In the UK, Seamus plans to study Cancer Sciences at the University of Glasgow and Technology Policy at the University of Cambridge.
