Nicholas is a graduate from Foothill College and UC Berkeley where he studied Anthropology, Arabic, and Public Policy. He currently works on North Africa and the Gulf at USAID, and previously was a Boren Scholar at the Center for Arabic Studies Abroad. Nicholas will pursue degrees in governance and Middle Eastern Studies at the Universities of Sussex and Oxford in preparation for a diplomatic career. He is passionate about expanding access to international education and careers to marginalized groups, especially community college and non-traditional students, and is grateful to the communities and mentors that have empowered him to serve others.
