Maya is from New Jersey and will graduate from Rutgers with a BS in Computer Science and on the pre-med track. She interned as a software engineer at MongoDB, as a sales and trading analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and as a research assistant at the National Cancer Institute. At Rutgers, Maya served on the student government executive board and was President of the Venture Capital Club. She plans to pursue a career as a physician-scientist applying technology and artificial intelligence in medicine. She will complete an MSc in Computer Science at Oxford as a Marshall Scholar.
