At MIT, Katie studies Brain and Cognitive Sciences with Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering. She received a Goldwater Scholarship for her research in machine learning, cognitive science, and biomedicine, and has co-authored multiple publications and presented at numerous scientific conferences. She founded the MITxHarvard Women in Artificial Intelligence (AI) Group, and is an Academic All-American and two-time All-American in cross country and track & field. As a Marshall Scholar, Katie will pursue an MPhil in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence at the University of Cambridge, followed by an MSc in Mind, Language and Embodied Cognition at the University of Edinburgh.
