Jessica Bickel-Barlow earned a B.A. from Northwestern University’s School of Communication with majors in Radio, Television, Film and English Literature. During her summers, she performed in the University of Texas Shakespeare at Winedale program, which sparked her interest in early modern dramatic culture. Now she plans to study the collaborative theatrical practices of Shakespeare and his contemporaries with the goal of employing these techniques in modern rehearsal rooms as a director.
