Craig Stevens, from the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, is a former Division I College Football player-turned aspiring Archaeologist from American University. For his senior thesis, Craig researched the life of Josiah Henson, an Underground Railroad conductor who inspired the novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Craig created a virtual tour for the historical site in Rockville, Maryland, dedicated to Josiah Henson’s life. He plans to study Archaeology and the African Diaspora at University College London and King’s College London. In the future, Craig aims to use archaeological and ethnographic methods to investigate the lives of African Diasporic communities across the world
