Amanda Royka

A native of North Haven, Connecticut, Amanda Royka is a senior majoring in Cognitive Science at Yale University. Amanda’s studies have focused on animal cognition and she has conducted research with domesticated dogs, Australian dingoes, and rhesus monkeys. Her thesis compares the cognitive abilities of domesticated dogs and Australian dingoes. As a Marshall Scholar, she plans to study evolutionary biology and comparative psychology at Queen Mary University of London and the University of St. Andrews.
