Shomik studied  Mechanical Engineering at Duke University. His research is on solar thermal power for hydrogen generation and hydrogen fuel cell efficiency optimization for vehicle propulsion power. He is excited to study in the UK at the University of Cambridge to learn more about solving the critical problem of global warming.
