Rose Asaf
Rose graduated summa cum laude from New York University where she studied Social and Cultural Analysis and Politics. Throughout her undergraduate career, Rose focused her academic and personal work on the American-Jewish movement for Palestinian rights. After her completing her undergraduate degree, she worked as a regional director on Bernie Sanders’s 2020 presidential campaign. In her first year as a Marshall Scholar, Rose will pursue an MA in Conflict Transformation at Queen’s University Belfast, where she will be studying how Northern Ireland’s Jewish community navigates the country’s contested landscape. For the second year of her Scholarship, Rose plans to study Sociology with emphasis on quantitative methods at the University of Oxford.
