Rachel conducted physics research at Grinnell College, Cornell University and the CERN as an undergraduate.  She was also awarded a Goldwater Scholarship Honorable Mention.

As a Marshall Scholar Rachel will study Nuclear and Particle Physics at the University of Edinburgh in her first year.  In her career in STEM Rachel hopes to promote science literacy and make physics a more inclusive and diverse field.
