Originally from Atlanta, GA, Patrick Clinch is a Robertson Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A history and political science major and English minor, Patrick is passionate about voting rights advocacy, historical research, comedic performance, and creative writing. While at UNC, Patrick researched the origins of American popular culture and held internship positions at the U.S. House of Representatives and the Liberal Democrats headquarters in London. As a Marshall Scholar, Patrick will read for a master’s in British history with a focus on the role of print satire in the 18th and early 19th centuries.
