Hailing from Orrington, Maine, Michael graduated from Northeastern University in 2020 with a dual degree in Civil Engineering and Economics. His professional work in Boston and San Francisco has focused on envisioning more equitable and sustainable transportation networks, and his research has centered on how planners can lead transformative change.
