Max Hammer graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and a minor in Philosophy. Max is passionate about pediatric medicine and plans to pursue a career as a physician-scientist investigating organ development as it relates to the treatment of childhood disease. He will be studying philosophy of mind at the University of Edinburgh to address patient agency in children, after which he will focus on drug development at University College London. As a competitive rock climber he is also looking forward to the unique climbing that the UK has to offer.
