Matthew, a Connecticut Native, will graduate from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service with a degree in International History. He is interested in the problem of how injustice is rationalized in history. Matthew, who has worked on historical projects at the Brookings Institution and the Supreme Court, has done extensive research into local history, particularly the history of slaveholding in his hometown and at Georgetown. Matthew plans to take a degree in history at the University of Manchester.
