Maggie Sardino
Maggie Sardino, from Syracuse, New York, is currently studying Citizenship and Civic Engagement, and Writing and Rhetoric at Syracuse University. Maggie has written and directed a documentary titled “A Blueprint for Re-renewal” which detailed the history of the oldest public housing complex in the state of New York and the city’s plans to replace public housing with mixed incoming housing. She is a Research Assistant with the Engaged Humanities Network and is a Dialogue Consultant with the El-Hindi Center for Dialogue and Action. She hopes to become a scholar of writing and digital storytelling methods, engaging communities with traditional and digital storytelling skills to foster social justice. As a Marshall Scholar, Maggie plans to study Digital Humanities at King’s College London before transitioning to Goldsmiths, University of London for a degree in Applied Anthropology and Community Arts.
