Evan Binkley is a graduate from the University of Michigan with a degree in Art History and a minor in Museum Studies. His research explores the multidisciplinary value of cultural heritage sites on the African continent and the contemporary ramifications of colonialism. A native of the Washington, D.C. area, he has held internship positions through the U.S. Department of State and the Smithsonian Institution. As a Marshall Scholar, Evan pursued an MA in Global Creative and Cultural Industries from SOAS University of London and an MPhil in African Studies from the University of Cambridge.
