Brian graduated with honors from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. In 2016, Brian was appointed by DC Mayor Muriel Bowser to serve as the Executive Director for the city’s Office on Returning Citizen Affairs, where he leads the office in its mission to serve and vigorously advocate for previously incarcerated persons, providing them with the resources and support needed to thrive, prosper and contribute to the social, political and economic development of themselves and the community. Brian also established a non-profit venture called Startline that will create an online platform designed to be a resource for those attempting to successfully re-negotiate reentry into society through access to essential services in their areas.
