Ben Johnson is a proud native of the Pacific Northwest city of Seattle. He recently graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Nursing and Health Studies with an honors degree in Human Science and is currently enrolled as a medical student at the Johns Hopkins University. In college, he worked as an EMT, founded a student mental health organization, and researched social isolation and space exploration microbiology. To advance his passions in spaceflight, medicine, and mental health, Ben plans to study Human Cognitive Neuropsychology at the University of Edinburgh and Space Physiology and Health at King’s College London. He has a love for adventure, enjoying SCUBA, skydiving, hiking, sailing, traveling and meeting new people.
