Amar Bhardwaj
Columbia University
Amar graduated from Columbia University with a B.S. in chemical engineering. He is chiefly interested in developing and promoting solar fuels technologies, which generate sustainable fuels using solar energy. As an undergraduate, Amar was Editor-in-Chief of Consilience: The Journal of Sustainable Development and conducted solar fuels research that resulted in several publications, including a lead-author paper. Amar has shared his research widely in oral presentations at the United Nations and numerous international professional conferences. He is a Goldwater Scholar, two-time Udall Scholar, and Amgen Scholar, among over 20 additional awards. Amar also enjoys Latin dance and playing French horn.
