Alexander Sojourney received his B.S. from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Justice Studies. He helped implement diversity and inclusion measures as the first Black Student Body President of his campus and then as the Black African Coalition president. Alexander is an advocate for civic engagement and racial justice policy. He has worked for the Arizona Supreme Court on restorative justice legislation, served as the Arizona director for the Biden Presidential campaign, and organized Black advocacy marches and town halls. As a Marshall Scholar, Alexander plans to study Race, Media, and Social Justice at Goldsmiths, University of London during his first year.
