Akshayaa Chittibabu

Akshayaa graduated from the University of Connecticut with a self-designed degree in Health, Policy, and Social Medicine and a minor in Sociology. She is a Truman Scholar, Newman Civic Fellow, and aspiring physician-public servant. She is also the founder and executive director of Connecticut’s leading undergraduate global health conference, served as a United Nations Foundation Global Health Fellow, is a published poet, and speaks five languages. Akshayaa will pursue an MSc in Sociology at the University of Oxford and an MSc in Medical Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh.
