Abrita is a proud Nepalese-born American who graduated from the University of New Hampshire (UNH) with a BA in Political Science and International Affairs while minoring in English. She is a New Hampshire Truman Scholar, two-time recipient of the Critical Language Scholarship for Korean, and former intern at the State Department. Abrita aspires to become a foreign service officer at the United States Agency for International Development and hopes to influence educational policies within developing South Asian communities. She will pursue double masters in International Education and Development and South Asian Area Studies in the UK.
