Lila Fowler studies mathematics and physics at the University of San Diego. A 2024 Goldwater Scholar, Lila is interested in mathematical modeling. Her research has centered on mathematical and computational tools to balance speed and accuracy in physical simulations. Outside the lab, she can be found reading history or playing ultimate frisbee. As a Marshall Scholar, Fowler plans to pursue a taught MPhil in Scientific Computing followed by a research MPhil in Physics at the University of Cambridge.
