Sarah Konrad
Sarah Konrad is from Durham, North Carolina, and attends Duke University, where she studies History with a minor in French Studies and Computer Science. Sarah has done an abundance of research, covering topics like ethical consumption in colonial Virginia, historical social network analysis, and comparative legal research on 19th-century Indigenous property law. She has interned for the University of Cape Town Refugee Rights Unit as a legal intern in Cape Town, South Africa. She also has mentored cohorts of female elementary school children to facilitate hands-on STEM learning in underrepresented groups. Sarah hopes to study Legal and Constitutional Studies at the University of St. Andrews, then International Human Rights Law at Queen’s University of Belfast, in order to focus on the construction of legal rights throughout her career.
