Margaret Meehan
Margaret Meehan, from Western Springs, IL, is a senior at the United States Air Force Academy. She is set to graduate in 2025 with a double major in Data Science and Operations Research as a member of USAFA's Martinson Honors College. As a Stamps Scholar, Margaret has conducted research with NASA, focusing on predictive modeling for communication stability on the International Space Station, and contributed to computer vision applications for Special Operations. A former Division I swimmer, Margaret earned Mountain West Conference recognition during her time on the Air Force team. After stepping away from NCAA athletics, she embraced her role as a "Teal Rope," providing peer support through the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program.
Currently, Margaret serves as the Wing Character and Honor Development Officer, leading the Cadet Wing in honor education and discipline while overseeing programs designed to foster ethical leadership. Beyond her formal roles, Margaret is an avid marathon runner and a self-taught calligrapher. After graduation, she looks forward to commissioning as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and attending pilot training.
