Christian Boudreaux
Christian Boudreaux is from Starkville, Mississippi, and studies Biology, with a minor in Spanish, Chemistry, Environmental Studies at the University of Mississippi. As a Hollings Scholar, Christian completed an internship with the National Sea Turtle Genetics Program, where he developed the premier methodology necessary to extract DNA from sea turtle eggshells, and was able to present this research at NOAA headquarters in D.C. Furthermore, Christian is a part of the Men’s Soccer Club, and President of Hill Country Roots, a tree planting organization that works in the community to prevent erosion and promote environmental education. He plans to study at the University of Edinburgh: Marine Systems and Policies in his first year, and Evolutionary Genetics in his second year.
