Ethan Ostrow, from San Francisco, California, is completing a BA in Law, Letters, and Society at the University of Chicago. He co-founded the UChicago Student Advocate’s Office during his first year, for which he was recognised with a University of Chicago Humanitarian Award in 2022. He has also interned with local, state, and federal legislators, is a Metcalf Fellow at the University of Chicago Law School’s Federal Criminal Justice Clinic, a Stamps Scholar in restorative justice, and a University of Chicago Student Marshal.
He plans to continue his studies by obtaining an MSc in Socio-Legal Research at the University of Oxford. His ultimate goal is to further the practice of restorative justice in both the US and the UK.
