Ayelet Kalfus
Ayelet Kalfus is from New York, New York and will graduate from Yale University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. Ayelet’s research experience spans physics, biology, and computer science and within the Yale STEM communities, she has served as co-president of both the Yale Undergraduate Quantum Computing Group and Yale Women in Physics+. Ayelet has volunteered with Ukrainian refugees in Prague and established a fellowship to fund future volunteers, with the first two students traveling this winter. Ayelet hopes to combine synthetic biology and artificial intelligence to contribute solutions to the climate crisis. As a Marshall Scholar, Ayelet plans to pursue the Systems and Synthetic Biology MRes and the Artificial Intelligence MSc at Imperial College London.
