Max graduated in 2021 from Montana State University with a degree in biochemistry and minors in economics, global health, and Hispanic studies. A proud Montanan, he is interested in improving health access and quality of care in rural areas as a primary care physician and researcher. Max will pursue an MPhil in Population Health Sciences at the University of Cambridge and a MSc in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing at the LSHTM. A Truman scholar, Max currently lives in Sitka, Alaska and enjoys mountain biking, backcountry skiing, scuba diving, and volunteer firefighting in his spare time.
