Marshall Sherfield Fellow Marshall Sherfield Fellow Carlos holds an AB degree in Biology, an MA in Statistics and a PhD in Biology from Harvard University. He is interested in applying recent advances in statistics to population genetics, the study of naturally occurring genetic variation. Carlos is, therefore, using his Marshall Sherfield Fellowship to work with the Mathematical Genetics Group in the Department of Statistics at the University of Oxford.
