Dr Bryan Huey
Marshall Sherfield Fellow Bryan grew up in San Diego, Ca, before heading to Stanford for a BS and the University of Pennsylvania for a PhD, both in materials science. The Marshall Sherfield Fellowship allowed him to live and work at Oxford, which led to positions at EPFL, Switzerland, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, D.C. Bryan is presently a faculty member at the University of Connecticut. His research continues to focus on the development and application of novel nanoscale property measurements, with a separate emphasis on education. While in the UK Bryan married a Danish citizen, and along with our son we frequently return to Britain and Europe to reestablish our Oxford connections.
