Dr Aradhna Tripati
Marshall Sherfield Fellow Aradhna has a BS in Geology from California State University, Los Angeles and a PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Remarkably, she began her college education at the age of 12. As a postdoctoral fellow, she will be a member of the Environmental Change and Marine Geochemistry Group in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Cambridge. Her current research emphasis is on reconstructing ancient marine environments during recent intervals of Earth's history characterised by rapid climate change. Aradhna's non-academic interests are extremely varied, and range from community outreach to athletic and creative personal activities. Some of her recent forays include kickboxing, hiking, salsa dancing, running, enamel, and cooking.
