Dr Ruth Van Dyke

1976 Marshall Scholar
Ruth Van Dyke is a former Marshall Scholar and is currently a Honorary Researcher, in the Bakhita Centre for Research on Slavery, Exploitation and Abuse at St Mary’s University. She teaches on the MA in Human Trafficking, Migration and Organised Crime and has undertaken a number of evaluations of projects offering support and protection to victims of modern slavery. Previously she worked for twenty-seven years as a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at London South Bank University and participated in research and practice on equality issues. Ruth has recently joined the Marshall Aid Commemoration Committee as an Alumni Observer.
