Muhammad Ibrahim Khan

Muhammad Ibrahim Khan studied English and Cognitive Science for three years at Rice University before completing an MA in Comparative Literature at Dartmouth College. His thesis at Dartmouth focused on the political thought of Mahmoud Darwish and Muhammad Iqbal as evoked through their poetry. Ibrahim has also studied Islamic jurisprudence with traditionally-trained scholars and has been active in the American Muslim community, where he has helped found several educational initiatives. Ibrahim is passionate about serving neglected communities, including prison inmates, refugees, and individuals with special needs. At Oxford, he plans to study pre-modern Islamic law, legal theory, and political thought.
