Michaella Moore is graduating senior at Howard University where she majored in Biology and minored in Sociology and Theater Arts. The Newark, Delaware native conducted her honors thesis on neuronal loss in infant macaque monkeys orally infected with SIV. Throughout her undergraduate career, she spent much time in student government leadership and tutoring in local jails with the Petey Greene Program. She is passionate about utilizing international policy to achieve justice for marginalized communities with a focus on health equity. As a Marshall Scholar, Michaella will be pursuing an MA in Medical Anthropology from SOAS University of London.
