Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Langdon Ogburn studied Philosophy and Africa Regional Studies at the United States Military Academy. As a Stamps Scholar, Langdon researched the role of security and military leadership in mass atrocity prevention. Langdon focused on academic tutoring and mental health advocacy while attending the Academy. With the Marshall Scholarship, he will study Conflict, Development, and Security at King's College London, followed by a year of Public Policy. Ultimately, Langdon hopes to help end mass atrocities by making this a primary objective of U.S. and U.K. foreign policy.
