Kyra Kocis

Kyra Kocis is a graduate of the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she studied Science, Technology and International Affairs. Her research focuses on the unintended consequences of urban development policies designed to promote economic growth and technological modernization. She has made frequent trips to India to study Mumbai’s slum rehabilitation, and Jaipur’s artisan and industrial textile clusters. As a Marshall Scholar, Kyra will study social research methods at the University of Sussex and regional and urban planning studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
