Erin Hylton, of Rockville, MD, will graduate with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. A Udall Scholar, Erin interned at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, led her campus chapter of Engineers Without Borders, and conducted research on hydroelectric development in the Amazon. She has competed as a national level gymnast and enjoys practicing capoeira. Currently, she is studying Portuguese as a Boren Scholar in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In the UK, Erin will pursue an MSc in Hydrology at Imperial College London and in Water Science, Policy and Management at the University of Oxford.
