Claire graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with majors in environmental engineering and economics. Her interests at Northwestern ranged from playing club soccer to welding on the Northwestern Formula Racing team. Claire’s academic pursuits lie at the intersection of environmental economics and energy technology. Her senior thesis examined the impact of renewable portfolio standards on unemployment using a difference-in-differences analysis. She intends to pursue an MPhil in Energy Technologies at the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Carbon Management at the University of Edinburgh. Claire’s hometown is Saint Louis, Missouri, but her heart lies in Marquette, Michigan.
