Christian studied at the U.S. Naval Academy where he earned his degree in chemistry. As a Midshipman, he conducted in-depth research projects using ionic liquids to modify biomaterials as both a Stamps Scholar and Trident Scholar. Christian was honored to serve as the Team Captain of Navy’s Varsity Offshore Sailing Team during his senior year. Christian will pursue a MSc in Chemistry (by research) at the University of York with the Marshall Scholarship. Following completion of his degree, Christian will serve as an officer in the Navy’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal community.
