Bethany is an environmental engineering major and ROTC cadet at Syracuse University. Growing up on the coast of Massachusetts, she developed a commitment to protecting our water resources and plans to dedicate her career to improving the Army's water resources management. Throughout college, she has conducted research tracing the degradation of organic pollutants in water systems and has completed internships with federal and state water managers. Bethany is also a NOAA Hollings Scholar, Astronaut Scholar and Udall Scholar. As a Marshall Scholar, Bethany will pursue an MSc in Water and Environmental Management and an MSc in Water Engineering.
