Samuel (Sam) Brody is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he studied Aeronautical Engineering and Applied Mathematics, with a minor in French. As a cadet, Sam researched numerical methods applied to the Navier-Stokes equations, developing a novel preconditioned conjugate gradient method. Sam also served as a glider instructor pilot with the 94th Flying Training Squadron and was the cadet in charge of the Academy Ambassadors program. Sam is pursuing an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Oxford. Following the Marshall Scholarship, he will enter pilot training as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.
