Naomi will graduate from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity. A Goldwater Scholar, she has contributed to a diverse set of research projects and is particularly interested in how forests will be affected by a changing climate. As founder of science communication platform UnScilenced, she is also passionate about improving the accessibility of research within and beyond the academic sphere. To explicitly address and engage with both the climate crisis and the public, Naomi will pursue a MSc in Climate Change, followed by an MSc in Science Communication.
