Matt Gannon is a senior at Dartmouth College, where he researches how collaborative documentary filmmaking can reduce the stigmatization of people experiencing homelessness and people who are incarcerated. Named a John Robert Lewis Scholar, his multimedia advocacy at the ACLU of Maryland and at Street Sense Media has focused on repealing unjust prison policies, reforming police practices, and ending the criminalization of homelessness. In the U.K., Matt will pursue an MA in Sociology at the University of Manchester and an MA in Film Directing at the University of Edinburgh.
