Keerthana graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in political science. She studies political philosophy, with a focus on theories of justice and human rights. Keerthana interned for The New York Times, was co-editor in chief of The Politic and managing editor of The Yale Historical Review, and is an assistant editor for Foreign Affairs. She also worked for legal organizations, including the Bronx Defenders, and produced 120 YEARS, a documentary about a wrongful conviction. As a Marshall Scholar, she plans to pursue an MPhil in Political Theory at Oxford.
