Princeton University

Joani Etskovitz, from Pennsylvania, will graduate from Princeton University with an AB in English Literature and minors in Humanistic and European Cultural Studies. She uses her research on Victorian girls’ intellectual agency to inspire academic libraries’ public engagement towards children’s literacy. Joani has helped curate exhibitions and lead outreach at the Library of Congress YRC, Cotsen Children’s Library, and Penn Museum. A Marshall and Beinecke Scholar, she will pair Oxford’s MSt in English Language and Literature (1830-1914) with King’s College London’s MA in English Literature (1850-present). Outside of the library, Joani directs Princeton’s Humanities Mentorship Program and sings in the Glee Club.
