Isabelle graduated from Southern Methodist University, where she studied environmental sciences, public policy, and human rights. She is passionate about amplifying coastal voices for just environmental and climate governance, especially in the Asia-Pacific, which she explored during a year abroad at the University of Auckland and as a Critical Language Scholar for Indonesia. Isabelle recently published research on environmental change, policy, and traditional ecological knowledge in southern Louisiana. She plans to pursue a career that helps the communities most vulnerable to environmental changes. As a Marshall Scholar, Isabelle will study Climate Change: Environment, Science and Policy at King's College, London.
