Emaline Laney, from Wayne, Pennsylvania, will graduate from Agnes Scott College with degrees in Chemistry and Public Health. Emaline interned with Partners In Health, completing a cost-analysis of an oral cholera vaccination campaign in Haiti, The Task Force for Global Health, helping with the polio eradication campaign, and Harvard Medical School, researching new antibiotics to fight antibiotic-resistance bacteria. She has traveled and studied in West Africa, Nepal, and China. With the Marshall Scholarship, Emaline will pursue an MSc in Epidemiology at The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She hopes to improve the translation of care in resource-limited settings.
